Technology Brings Distance Learning to You!

Cochise College's interactive television system (ITV) allows students in distant locations to participate in the same class by attending the campus that's most convenient for them.

About two dozen classes are scheduled in ITV classrooms each semester. The system broadcasts an instructor from one Cochise College location to several others. Special equipment allows instructors and students to see and interact with each other via television monitor. The ITV system also works for meetings between staff members at various locations. It saves students, faculty and staff both time and gas money!

Although ITV classrooms are located in Benson, Douglas, Nogales, Sierra Vista and Willcox, some classes may be available in Douglas and Sierra Vista only.
