 Any student enrolled in classes at Cochise College can use the services of the Writing Lab. We help students of all levels and from all disciplines at any phase of their writing.   

Meet the tutors

Our professional and peer tutors, honors students who have strong writing skills, assist writers during one-on-one sessions, helping them brainstorm ideas, develop thesis statements, organize information, and review the rules of grammar, spelling, and usage.

Information for instructors

We encourage students to bring assignments as well as any drafts of their work, either on paper, a diskette, or a flash drive. We have handbooks and style manuals for student use and also provide handouts on grammar, punctuation, and documentation methods. We offer a variety of workshops throughout each semester. We will also happily provide instructors and their students with orientations about the Writing Lab at any time during the semester.
