Credit Load Limitations

Get the most out of your education by carrying a manageable course load.

Cochise College has established the following maximum number of units for which a student may register:

Beginning freshman/first-time college students: 18 credits

All other students:
Cumulative GPA             Credits
Greater than 2.49              19
2.00-2.49                          16
Less than 2.00                  12

Exceptions may be made for specific aviation and cooperative education programs. Students may petition the director of the Student Development Center to enroll in more units.
