60th anniversary traveling display lands in Willcox

As part of Cochise College’s 60th-anniversary celebration, its traveling historical exhibit has arrived at the Chiricahua Regional Museum in Willcox. This display, featuring six banners that chronicle significant milestones in the college’s history, invites visitors to explore the institution’s rich legacy and impact on Cochise County.
The exhibit began its journey at the college’s Founders Day celebration, commemorating six decades of educational excellence. After its debut, the display traveled to Douglas and Bisbee. It will remain in Willcox until January 30, 2025, before heading to Benson in February and continuing its tour across Cochise County through July.
The Chiricahua Regional Museum, located at 127 East Maley Street in Willcox, provides the perfect setting for the exhibit. Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the museum welcomes visitors to experience the history and legacy of Cochise College.
