The community is invited to Cochise College’s Steel Pan Music Presentation and Workshop, led by Jen Dorris and the Sierra Vista Steel Orchestra.

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 12, offering two opportunities to attend:

• Douglas Campus: 11 a.m. to noon
• Sierra Vista Campus: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Attendees will experience the energy of live steel pan music, discover the fascinating history of this unique instrument, and even have the chance to try their hand at playing. The workshop aims to educate, inspire and connect the community through music.

 

This free event is open to the public. Families, friends and music enthusiasts are encouraged to attend this cultural experience.
