Ana Le a student at Cochise College has been named a 2025 Coca-Cola Academic Team Silver Scholar and will receive a $1,250 scholarship.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation sponsors the Coca-Cola Academic Team program by recognizing 50 Gold, 50 Silver, and 50 Bronze Scholars with nearly $200,000 in scholarships annually. Each scholar also receives a commemorative medallion.
“The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation has a long history of providing financial assistance to outstanding students at community colleges,” said Jane Hale Hopkins, President of the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. “We are proud to partner with Phi Theta Kappa to make it possible for more deserving students to achieve their educational goals and support tomorrow’s global community leaders.”
Le, a computer science major plans to transfer to the University of Arizona to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science and cybersecurity. She aims to build a career as a software developer in the video game industry, driven by her passion for creating immersive gaming experiences. Le hopes her achievements will inspire other women to explore technology careers, especially in game development.
At Cochise College, Le actively participates as a Phi Theta Kappa member and volunteers with the Student Government Association. Beyond academics, she showcases creativity and discipline as an aerialist at ADIDC Dance Studio and donates blood to support community health initiatives.
Le’s academic excellence has earned her recognition on the President's List, honors from the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Student Leadership Excellence Award.
Coca-Cola Academic Team members will be recognized in both local and statewide ceremonies. They will also be recognized internationally during Phi Theta Kappa’s annual convention, PTK Catalyst, held on April 3-5 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Students are nominated for the academic team by their college administrators. Selection criteria include academic achievement, leadership, and engagement in college and
community service.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation celebrates and empowers visionary leaders who are refreshing the world. Supporting more than 1,400 exceptional college students each year, it awards $3.55 million in scholarships annually through three nationally recognized programs.
