Cochise College welcomed Dr. José Antonio Bowen on March 4 for a “Get Hands-On With AI: Transforming & Learning” workshop at the Sierra Vista Campus. The free event marked the launch of “Classrooms Reimagined: AI for Educators,” an 18-month program designed to help educators integrate artificial intelligence into teaching and learning.

 

Dr. Bowen, an award-winning educator and author, led participants through interactive exercises exploring AI’s potential to enhance learning, personalize instruction and streamline workflows. Educators, students and K-12 partners engaged in discussions about critical thinking, ethical AI use and practical applications for the classroom.
