A Night Under Cochise County’s Dark Skies
Cochise College invites families, alumni and the public to step outside and look up at the county’s dark skies during a series of Star Watch Parties across Cochise County this spring semester.
The outdoor gatherings offer a relaxed, family-friendly way to experience Arizona’s famous dark skies. Participants can view the night sky stargazing through powerful telescopes, learn how to identify constellations and galaxies, and get a close look at the moon and planets. No experience is needed. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the events.
The events are hosted by Cochise College’s science Instructor, Dr. Chad Davies. All ages are welcome.
