Get Ahead with Dual Enrollment!
Through the Cochise College Dual Enrollment Program, high school students have an opportunity to get an early start on college and career goals by earning college credits and certifications while attending high school. Cochise College has partnered with various Cochise County high schools to provide dual enrollment opportunities.
Before starting, take some time to discuss this college commitment with parents/guardians. While there are advantages to getting an early start on college, students and parents should seriously consider college class expectations and time commitment. Grades posted to a college transcript will follow the student for life and may affect future opportunities for employment, financial aid, and academics. Please contact Dual Enrollment office at de@cochise.edu or 520-515-4511 with questions.

Steps to Get Started
Expand All +Speak with your high school guidance counselor regarding our academic plans and intended major. Learn about dual enrollment opportunities at your campus or at Cochise College. The high school determines whether or not Cochise College credit applies toward high school graduation requirements.
It's FREE- no application Fee.
An acceptance email and letter will be sent to you that will contain important information on how to get registered. Your college email account username and password instructions will be in the letter.
You will meet with a dual enrollment representative if you are taking a class at your high school campus. If you are taking a class at Cochise College with a college instructor, please contact the Early College Department to schedule an appointment: de@cochise.edu | 520-515-4511
Complete and turn in the following forms:
- Concurrent Enrollment Form provided by the Early College department (must have parent and student signatures)
- Copy of either your ID or US Birth Certificate
- Signed Authorization of Release Form provided by the Early College Department (Optional)
After applying for admission, you will receive an admission letter with your C# (student ID) and instructions on how to set up your MyCochise account. This includes activating your Cochise College email. Please make sure you follow all instructions to successfully set up your account. If you’re having technical issues, please call the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@cochise.edu or 520-515-5400. Have your C# ready.
Completing admissions paperwork does NOT mean you are registered for classes yet. Registration will be complete when an Early College Representative stops by your high school with a registration form for you to fill out. This form must be filled out and turned in along with your Concurrent Enrollment form before we can register you.
To verify registration, check your MyCochise portal or call (520) 515-4511.
